Sukin is an Australian natural skincare brand with a mission of providing “skincare that doesn’t cost the earth.” The brand’s range of affordable skin, hair and body care products is created using only high quality, pure ingredients that are earth-friendly. I’ve been using a few Sukin skincare products lately, so in today’s post I’m going to be sharing my thoughts on them. Read on to find out!
With its lime and coconut fragrance, this body lotion smells delicious and is a pleasure to apply. It has a blend of skin-loving ingredients:
Rosehip, Avocado, Jojoba Oils, Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter – Nourishes, hydrates and smoothes the skin.
Aloe Vera, Nettle, Horsetail and Burdock – Restores moisture and nourishes dry skin.
This non-greasy body lotion is easy to apply and absorbs into the skin quickly. What I love about this product is how hydrating it is; it leaves my skin feeling super moisturised all day long. In addition, my skin feels so incredibly soft and silky smooth after using this too. As Sukin recommend, I’ve been applying this after I have a bath or shower whilst the skin is still slightly moist. I’ve really enjoyed using this as it instantly gives my skin a moisture boost whilst leaving it feeling refreshed and replenished. It really is a wonderful product!
This charcoal face masque is designed to detoxify your skin and control oiliness. To use it, you apply it to your damp face and allow the masque to penetrate for fifteen minutes. You then wash it off with warm water and a wash cloth. This product contains a number of key ingredients that are very beneficial to your skin:
Bamboo Charcoal with Moringa Extract – Absorbs toxins and impurities to leave your pores clean and clear.
Rooibos Tea, Willowherb and Aloe Vera – Revitalises your skin and helps keep it blemish free.
Quince, Bilberry and Pomegranate Extracts – Tighten pores, reduces shine and balances your complexion.
Avocado, Coconut and Rosehip Oils – Moisturises and nourishes your skin.
This masque is very easy to apply and, as a little goes a long way, not much product is needed. Once I’ve washed this off, I immediately notice how much softer and smoother my skin looks. It’s amazing at drawing out impurities and cleaning out the pores, which is why I tend to reach for this masque whenever my skin is congested. It really does leave your skin looking so much clearer and blemish-free. As I have combination skin, my skin can get pretty oily around the T-Zone, but this is great at keeping shine to a minimum. I’ve been using this 1-2 times a week and I adore the healthy glow it gives me. This wouldn’t work well for those with dry skin, but if you have oily or combination skin, then I’d highly recommend giving this a go. You’ll love it!
