First things first, happy new year everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year’s Eve. I can’t believe that we’re in 2015 already, but I’m glad it’s here! I’m so ready for a fresh start and I’m very excited to see what 2015 has to offer.
I wasn’t sure whether to make New Year’s Resolutions this year – but I thought, why not? They’re a great way to help you become the best version of yourself! So without further ado, here are my goals for the year…
Read More Books – I absolutely love reading fiction, but I read a lot less than I used to – mainly because I’m always reading things on the internet! So this year, I want to fall in love with books again.
Write More – As well as blogging, I love to write short stories. I want to try to write something everyday, even if it’s just a little bit.
Find a New Hobby – You can never have too many interests or hobbies! I have a few ideas of new hobbies I want to try this year, so I intend to stick to at least one!
Work Hard – Hard work pays off, so I plan to put 100% effort into everything I do.
Travel – I haven’t travelled for a few years now, so I’m suffering from a serious case of wanderlust! I hope to be able to go abroad this year.
Say ‘Yes’ to New Opportunities – It’s important to get out of your comfort zone and try new things. It may mean doing things that you will feel anxious or fearful about, but sometimes you’ve just got to go for it in order to grow as person. For that reason, I want to say ‘yes!’ more to opportunities that come my way.
Go With The Flow – In 2014, I learnt that even if you have a plan of how you want things to be, sometimes life can throw unexpected things at you. I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and that these experiences, whether good or bad, are just meant to happen. So in 2015, I want to go with the flow, worry less and see where life takes me.
Blog More Consistently – I love blogging and want to keep my space updated as often as possible. I think the key for blogging more consistently will be to plan in advance and to stay organised.
Switch Up My Content – I’ve kind of been stuck in a rut with blog posts lately, so I want to try out different post ideas and introduce a new series or two to my blog.
Improve Photography – I’m really interested in photography at the moment, so I hope to improve my blog photos this year. Perhaps it’s time to upgrade the camera!
