|Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher in “Rose D’or” – £7.99|
Bourjois’ Little Round Pot blushers have been around for a very long time. I’ve always wanted to try them, so I decided to pick one up when I spotted them in Boots recently – and I’m I glad I did!
I bought the blush in the shade “Rose D’or,” a stunning peachy pink with a gold shimmer running through it. The colour is amazing and the shimmer gives your cheeks a lovely, subtle glow that looks really flattering. It has good pigmentation and I reckon that this shade would suit a variety of different skin tones. It’s been compared to the Nars Orgasm blush by many, so if you’re a fan of that then this is definitely worth a try seeing as it’s just a fraction of the price! It’s long lasting as it lasts until the end of the day, although it fades a little. The texture is smooth and soft, which makes this blush super easy to apply. As it’s a baked blush, it could harden over time, which would make it a little harder to apply. If this occurs, simply scrape a layer off and it will be as good as new.
Another thing I love about the product is the packaging – it’s gorgeous! It’s definitely one of the main things that attracted me to it; I’m a sucker for cute packaging! It comes with a built-in mirror and brush, so it’s very handy for touch ups throughout the day. I also think the size of the product is great; it’s tiny so it’s perfect for travelling and won’t take up much space in your makeup bag. I love the scent of this blusher; its rose scented aroma smells divine! It’s quite strong though and I know that some people don’t like fragranced products, so this could be a problem for some. However, once it has been applied to the skin, the scent fades very quickly.
Have you ever tried this Bourjois blusher? What did you think?
