Most of the natural beauty websites I purchase my products from allow you to choose free samples to go with your order. I love the fact that they do this because it gives you the chance to try out new products that you might not have thought about getting yourself. Plus, who doesn’t like a freebie? Today, I’m going to be sharing my first impressions on the latest skincare samples I’ve tested out.
Lavera’s Illuminating Eye Cream is designed to plump, smooth and brighten the delicate area around the eyes. In addition, as it contains anti-ageing ingredients including Wickenol, Hyaluronic Acid and Cova B Trox, it aims to reduce fine lines. Although it felt nice and moisturising, the first thing I noticed when I applied this eye cream was its colour. Due to pearl extract in the formula, the product has a pearlescent shimmer to it. Unfortunately, I found the shimmer effect a little too much and even after applying just a little, it left white marks underneath my eyes. Because of this, I wouldn’t go ahead and purchase the full version.
Next, I tried Green People’s Gentle Cleanse and Make-Up Remover. It aims to gently remove your makeup whilst cleansing away impurities and leaving your skin silky smooth. Its key ingredients are Aloe Vera, Calendula, Shea Butter and Squalane. I really enjoyed using this sample! It has a lovely, light scent and is effective at removing makeup and cleansing the skin. After I’ve used this, my skin feels refreshed, clean and smooth. I’d definitely consider purchasing it when I’m in need of a new cleanser.
Jason’s Age Renewal Vitamin E Moisturising Cream feels really nice to apply. Its formula contains wheat germ, avocado oil, aloe vera gel and vitamins A, C and 25,000 I.U. of vitamin E. I found this product super moisturising and loved the fact that it left my skin looking and feeling supple, hydrated and healthy. It’s amazing at perking up dull and dehydrated skin! My skin can get quite oily around the T-Zone, so, unfortunately, I found that this product is a little too heavy for me to use as a daytime moisturiser. However, as I love how hydrating it is, if I were to get this I would use it as a night cream.
Jason’s Invigorating Rosewater Body Wash and Smoothing Coconut Body Wash both thoroughly cleanse and nourish the skin. The rosewater body wash is formulated with rosewater, calendula extract, Vitamin E and Pro-Vitamin B5. It feels so refreshing to use and leaves your skin feeling really nice and soft. The coconut body wash, formulated with Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Vitamin E, smells absolutely delicious and leaves your skin feeling smooth and supple. It’s great for dry skin because of how moisturising it is. I would recommend both of these products!
Last but not least, I tried two Lily Lolo skincare samples. The first product is their Hydrate Day Cream, which is a light cream that hydrates and protects your skin. It contains oils, powerful antioxidants and sea plant stem cells to deeply nourish your skin. The product absorbs into the skin quickly and is ideal to use as an everyday cream. I really liked the fact that my skin looked a lot more radiant after applying it. Lily Lolo’s Night Cream is equally as good. It’s perfect for adding a hydration boost to your skin overnight and contains a variety of nourishing natural ingredients. Both are definitely worth a try!
Have you tried any of these products before? I’d love to know what you thought of them.
