So, the first month of the year is already over! January whizzed by, didn’t it? But I’m not complaining… the quicker we get to the warmer months, the better. As I discovered lots of beauty gems last month, I thought I would share the products that stood out to me the most. Read on to find out what I loved using during the month of January..
Vita Coco Coconut Oil – I’m a big fan of coconut oil because there’s just so many different ways you can use it. It’s so handy to have as it will solve nearly all of your beauty problems, seriously. Whether you want to cook with it, use it to remove your makeup or moisturise your skin, it’s so effective! I’ve been using it a lot recently and I’ve already spoken about my favourite coconut oil beauty uses here. At the moment, I use Vita Coco’s coconut oil, which I’d highly recommend. It’s extra virgin, 100% raw and organic.
Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie – Shea Moisture is a great brand that uses natural and certified organic ingredients, so you won’t find any harsh chemicals in their products. I’ve been using their Curl Enhancing Smoothie so much lately and I love it! It’s amazing for keeping the hair hydrated and soft, defining curls and reducing frizz. It contains coconut oil, silk protein and neem oil to help nourish your hair, restore shine and protect it from breakage. It works great for twist outs as well as an everyday styling cream, so this gets a big thumbs up from me.
Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen Grow & Restore Treatment Masque – Another Shea Moisture product I’ve been loving. This deep-conditioning hair masque is so good at restoring strength to your hair. I apply this all over my hair (from roots to ends) and leave it on for up to an hour. When I wash it off, my hair is so incredibly soft and shiny! It’s suitable for all hair types and definitely worth a try.
Organic Surge Blissful Daily Moisturiser – If you’re looking for a lightweight moisturiser that absorbs into the skin fast and doesn’t leave it feeling greasy or heavy, then this Organic Surge product is for you. It contains essential oils of sweet almond and lemon, so it has a lovely scent to it. When I apply this, my skin feels so awake and rejuvenated as it’s excellent at perking up dull skin.
Lily Lolo BB Cream – I know I mentioned this in my last haul, but it’s already become a favourite of mine! This BB cream gives you a really nice, natural-looking complexion and is really lightweight on the skin. So, if you like a light base then this is worth picking up. I also really like the healthy, radiant glow it leaves you with – amazing!
So those were my favourite beauty products last month. I’d love to know your January favourites!
