I recently purchased some natural makeup products from Lily Lolo, Benecos, Green People and Zoya, so I thought it would be fun to share those with you. Maybe I’m nosy, but personally I just love seeing other people’s beauty purchases! I find that watching hauls is a great way to discover new products and see people’s thoughts on them. I shared my green beauty haul on my YouTube channel, so you can watch it here or read on to find out what I got:
The first three products in my haul are from Lily Lolo, a really great natural brand. I picked these up towards the end of 2016 when they were on a 3 for 2 offer, so, of course I couldn’t resist! Firstly, I got Lily Lolo’s BB Cream in the shade “light.” I prefer a light coverage base for everyday wear and this product gives you just that. I love the natural-looking complexion it provides as well as the healthy, radiant glow it gives your skin. The next Lily Lolo product I purchased was their Sculpt and Glow Contour Duo, which contains a contour shade as well as a highlight. The highlight gives you a lovely glow without leaving you looking super glittery. The bronzer/contour shade is also really good – it’s not too orange like some bronzers can be and blends out very easily and is natural looking. Both shades are subtle and I’d say the colours are spot on. The duo contains some skin-loving ingredients including Argan oil and marine extract. In addition, I got Lily Lolo’s Eyebrow Duo in the shade “light.” It contains a pressed powder to fill in and define your eyebrows as well as a wax part to hold them in place. For me, it’s a good colour match and I really like how long lasting it is.
Next, I got some products from Benecos. The first is their Natural Lipstick in the shade “Pink Honey.” It’s a really pretty, muted pink that I know I will definitely use a lot. It’s the perfect everyday shade to wear to work/school/university etc. I really like its creamy texture and find it to be very moisturising and easy to apply. What’s more, it gives really good colour pay off and stays put on the lips for a good amount of time too. Next from Benecos, I got their Kajal Eyeliner in black. As it goes on smoothly, it’s really easy to apply. It’s long lasting and doesn’t fade much or smudge. It stays put, which is very impressive. Lastly, I purchased Benecos’ Natural Concealer in “Light.” I bought this because it contains some great moisturising ingredients of organic Jojoba Oil, which is meant to be really good for the delicate eye area. This product is great at covering dark circles and redness as well as brightening up the under eye area. I’d recommend trying Benecos products because they’re affordable yet high quality.
I also got Green People’s Organic Lifestyle Volumising Mascara. I was very keen to try a Green People product as I’ve heard great things about the brand, and this product doesn’t disappoint. I find that it’s really good at volumising and lengthening the lashes lashes after a couple of coats. It also lasts all day long without smudging underneath the eyes or flaking – amazing! Last but not least, I decided to get a Zoya Nail Polish in the shade ‘Arizona,’ a beautiful, bright orange. The formula is great – it only takes a few coats for it to be opaque on the nails and lasts a long time without chipping.
I hope you enjoyed my natural, green beauty haul! Have you treated yourself to any products lately?
