Happy Saturday, friends!
Although some may find them a little cheesy, I’ve always been a fan of inspirational quotes. I think that they can be incredibly uplifting and a great pick me up for when you’re feeling down.
So for today’s post, I’m sharing five of my favourite quotes to live by:
1. “Start Each Day with a Grateful Heart”
Being thankful can make such a huge difference to our lives. Instead of focusing on the things we don’t have, we should all take the time to count our blessings, both big and small. Practising gratitude helps you stay positive and reminds you of what’s truly important in life.
2. “Comparison is the Thief of Joy” – Theodore Roosevelt
If you constantly compare yourself to others, then you allow your joy to be stolen. Living in this digital age, it’s way too easy to get wrapped up in what everyone else is doing via social media. But it’s so important to remember that you were put on this earth to be a unique individual, so celebrate this fact and focus on your own life and goals.
3. “It Does Not Matter How Slowly You Go as Long as You Do Not Stop”
Even if you feel like you’re not where you want to be in life – keep going. If you continue going down the right path and moving in the direction of your goal, you will get there eventually. Don’t worry about how long it will take to achieve your goals as that time will pass anyway – keep moving forward!
4. “Let All That You Do Be Done in Love” – 1 Corinthians 16:14
This is a great reminder of how to live day to day life. Whatever you do, try to do it with love. If we all chose to spread love and joy on a daily basis, then think how much better the world would become! If I had to choose just one motto to live my life by, then this one would definitely be it.
5. “This Too Shall Pass”
When life throws you a curveball or seems completely unbearable, keep going and tell yourself that “this too shall pass.” Try to see past the struggle and remind yourself that better days are to come.
